Payment Policy

At Paul & Angela Toronto, we want every payment to be secure, clear, and easy to complete. This Payment Policy explains which payment methods may be available, how payments are processed, when orders are confirmed, and how refunds are handled.

If you have any questions about a payment, refund, or order charge, please contact us at:

1. Accepted Payment Methods

Paul & Angela Toronto offers several secure payment options at checkout. The available payment methods may vary depending on your country, region, device, currency, and the payment providers available at the time of purchase.

Possible payment methods may include:

  • Credit cards

  • Debit cards

  • Visa

  • Mastercard

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay

  • Shop Pay

  • Other local payment methods shown at checkout

The payment methods shown at checkout are the payment methods currently available for your order. Customers are responsible for checking the available options before completing payment.

2. Payment Security

All payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. We use trusted checkout and payment systems designed to keep your payment information protected.

Your full card details are not stored on our own servers.

Payment data may be processed by external payment providers according to their own security standards, terms, and privacy policies. These providers help us process payments, prevent fraud, confirm transactions, and issue refunds where applicable.

3. When Your Order Is Processed

Orders are only processed after payment has been successfully completed and approved.

After placing your order, you should receive an order confirmation email. This confirms that we have received your order request and payment confirmation.

If your payment is declined, incomplete, flagged for review, or not successfully authorized, your order may not be processed.

4. Failed or Declined Payments

A payment may fail or be declined for several reasons, including:

  • Incorrect card details

  • Insufficient funds

  • Bank security checks

  • Payment provider restrictions

  • Expired card information

  • Billing address mismatch

  • Technical issues during checkout

  • Fraud prevention review

If your payment does not go through, please try again using the same or another available payment method. You may also contact your bank or payment provider for more information.

Paul & Angela Toronto cannot override payment decisions made by your bank, card provider, or payment provider.

5. Payment Authorization and Fraud Checks

To protect our customers and our store, some payments may be subject to security or fraud prevention checks.

We reserve the right to delay, review, refuse, or cancel an order if:

  • The payment appears suspicious

  • The billing or shipping details cannot be verified

  • The transaction is flagged by a payment provider

  • Fraudulent or unauthorized activity is suspected

  • Required payment information is missing or incorrect

If an order is cancelled by us before fulfilment due to payment or security concerns, any amount successfully charged for the cancelled order will be refunded to the original payment method.

6. Currency and Charges

Prices are displayed in the currency available for your selected market or checkout region.

Depending on your bank, card provider, country, or payment method, additional fees may apply. These may include:

  • Currency conversion fees

  • International transaction fees

  • Bank processing fees

  • Payment provider fees

These fees are charged by your bank or payment provider and are not controlled by Paul & Angela Toronto.

Please check with your bank or payment provider if you have questions about additional charges on your statement.

7. Buy Now, Pay Later Services

If buy-now-pay-later services such as Klarna or similar providers are available at checkout, these services are offered and managed by the relevant third-party payment provider.

When choosing this type of payment method, you may be subject to the provider’s own:

  • Terms and conditions

  • Payment schedule

  • Approval process

  • Fees or late payment rules

  • Refund processing timelines

  • Privacy policy

Paul & Angela Toronto is not responsible for payment plans, late fees, approval decisions, or account issues managed by third-party buy-now-pay-later providers.

For questions about your payment plan, please contact the payment provider directly.

8. Refunds

If you are eligible for a refund, for example after an approved return, cancellation, or order issue, the refund will usually be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

Refunds are processed according to our Return & Refund Policy.

Where a returned item must be inspected first, the refund will only be processed after the item has been received, checked, and approved.

Once approved, refunds are usually processed within:

Up to 14 business days

Your bank, card provider, or payment provider may need additional time to make the funds visible in your account.

Original shipping costs, customs fees, duties, payment provider fees, and return shipping costs are not refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law or confirmed by us in writing.

9. Refund Method

Refunds cannot usually be sent to a different card, account, or payment method than the one used for the original purchase.

If your original card or account is no longer active, please contact your bank or payment provider. In many cases, they can still redirect the refund to your updated account.

Paul & Angela Toronto cannot control how quickly your bank or payment provider releases refunded funds.

10. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

If you believe there is an issue with your payment, order, delivery, or refund, please contact us first at:

info@PaulAngelatoronto.com

Our support team will review your case and do our best to provide a clear and fair solution.

Opening a payment dispute or chargeback before contacting us may delay the resolution process, because banks and payment providers often require additional investigation time.

This section does not limit any rights you may have with your bank, card provider, payment provider, or under applicable consumer protection laws.

11. Incorrect Charges

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, please contact us as soon as possible.

Please include:

  • Your full name

  • Your order number

  • The email address used at checkout

  • A screenshot or description of the charge

  • Any relevant payment confirmation details

We will review the issue and help you understand the charge or correct the issue where appropriate.
